The Woodland Workout at Damson Hill Cottage.

THE WOODLAND WORKOUT is geared towards those who enjoy being in the great outdoors, whatever the weather. In the grounds of Damson Hill Cottage, Victoria incorporates a variety of elements into the workout, from press ups and burpees to boxing and core stability. Interspersed with plenty of squats, lunges, and hill runs the sessions consist of interval training (HIIT & Tabata) and circuits, using the incline of the grounds to help elevate the heart rate and we have 8 TRX , monkey bars and pull up bars too. It’s £10 per class for grown ups and £5 for children over 12.
Feel free to bring friends, family, kids and babies along too!

The exercises incorporate weights as well as cardio which increases fitness and muscle tone as well as maximising calorific burn. Using a variety of equipment including battle ropes, slam balls, our eco weights (bottles of sand!) or sash window weights, logs, tyres, TRX suspension and more, the Woodland Workout increases stamina, strength, endurance, energy and weight loss. With plenty of group solidarity during the class and a good chance to chat over herbal tea and homemade nibbles afterwards from Betty the Caravan Cafe, it’s well worth trying out.

Babies and children are welcome but are parent’s responsibility throughout. Please dress according to the weather - gloves recommenced as in the winter the sash window weights (dumbbells!) are pretty cold!. Mats are supplied but please bring water.
